Hard-wearing swing doors for high-traffic cold stores and storage rooms
In the cold stores of a catering company at Frankfurt Airport, a pilot project involving Grothaus swing doors provided the ideal solution. They were looking for industrial doors that could withstand very heavy loads. Electric pallet trucks with trolleys travel through the warehouses at a high frequency. Swing doors made of polyethylene are hard-wearing and can withstand impacts. A range of protective strips help to extend the service life. The colours and window shapes were tailored to the customer’s requirements. Grothaus swing doors are also used in international commercial catering kitchens, including those in Lagos, Cairo, Bangalore, Rome and Munich.
