Since 1996, Grothaus has been manufacturing swing doors for areas where there is a high volume of daily traffic. As a subsidiary of the Hörmann Group, we combine sophisticated technology, excellent design and experience across a wide range of industries. At Grothaus, swing doors are not manufactured according to a rigid formula, but are tailored to the specific requirements on site. The materials used for this include PE, stainless steel, HPL, wood or PVC. We manufacture many of the components ourselves. Our state-of-the-art machinery provides us with the manufacturing reliability we need to meet individual requirements with precision. At the same time, we are constantly refining our technology and processes. This is how ‘Made in Germany’ brand quality is created.

The stainless steel bands are robustly constructed, protect the springs inside and do not require re-lubrication.

Responsibility is an integral part of manufacturing.
As a subsidiary of the Hörmann Group, Grothaus takes on responsibility that goes beyond the individual order. We meet 100 per cent of our electricity requirements at our production site with green electricity from renewable energy sources. At the same time, we are reducing consumption, minimising emissions wherever possible, and have completely phased out the use of polystyrene. Unavoidable emissions can be offset through certified climate protection projects. On request, we can deliver our products in a carbon-neutral manner.
